Miracle Worker

At work, it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. That’s what my mum used to say. Then again she never had to handle a phone that never stops ringing, an inbox that’s ready to burst or texts from dawn till dusk.

Thank goodness for my rosemary and eucalyptus stress relief bath soak. A few moments under the soothing suds and all thoughts of the day drift away.

Domestic Goddess

Tuesday. 6am. The perfect dream has been interrupted by the kids jumping on me, reminding me today is their school trip. I have exactly one hour to find my daughter’s favourite top, make packed lunches, and get two very excited kids to the coach station in time.

Mornings like this call for a little shower therapy. Just two minutes in my bathroom sanctuary with my eucalyptus and citrus oil refresh shower gel, and I feel ready to tackle whatever ‘mum duty’ has to throw at me.

Lady of leisure

Dance, drama, football, gymnastics – you name it, my kids do it! You’d think they’d be worn out by the end of the week. No such luck.

It’s swimming club I dread. Between Saturday traffic and overcrowded changing rooms, it takes a whole morning to get the kids to the pool in time to show me their dive off the top board.

All I can think about is diving into my bath tub, infused with green tea and jasmine bath soak from the Radox Wellbeing range. Just a few drops and its hypnotic scent fills the air as I’m transported to a sanctuary of relaxation and calm.

All I need now is a that dishy lifeguard to watch over me...

A taste of paradise

Why are holidays always over too soon? Just yesterday I was basking in the Spanish sunshine sipping on a cocktail, watching the world go by. Now my post-holiday high is fast washing away with the ton of laundry I now have to do!

Thank goodness I've got my luxuriously moisturising tropical tranquillity shower smoothie with crushed almonds and myrrh. Just one whiff and I feel like I’m back on my beach paradise.

Heavenly hands

I love my garden. But my hands don’t. In fact they’re rather unforgiving of anything that gets them dirty – weeding, planting, potting, pruning...

I always treat them afterwards though, with my moisturise chamomile and jojoba handwash. After a gentle lather, they feel perfectly pampered and beautifully clean, so I can crack on with the next task in hand: Finger painting with the kids.
